This residential installation was commissioned for a couple building a home in Edmonton with an understated Tuscan theme. Located in the front entryway between the beautiful double staircase, it is one of the charming details included in the home.

The entire mosaic is made of hand-cut limestone and marble using the traditional hammer and hardie. Each of the thousands of tesserae was cut to size and placed one at a time.
